Pathways of Connection Dreaming tells a story of love, community, belonging and the many pathways that connect people throughout life.

At the heart of the artwork is the platypus, travelling through a landscape filled with movement, pathways and connection. Within this story, the platypus represents the individual journey — moving forward through changing environments, adapting to what lies ahead and finding its way through both calm and difficult waters.

Throughout the artwork, two circles represent connection, community and places of gathering. They symbolise spaces where people come together, share knowledge, support one another and strengthen the relationships that create a sense of belonging.

Beside these circles appear the man and woman symbols, repeated on opposite sides of the artwork. They represent two people travelling through life as individuals while remaining connected to one another. Each carries their own experiences, responsibilities and direction, yet their pathways continue to cross and remain intertwined.

The flowing pathways throughout the painting represent these connections. Some move towards one another, while others travel in different directions, reflecting the way relationships can grow, change and evolve over time. They speak to the journeys between people, family and community, and to the experiences that ultimately shape where and with whom we feel we belong.

Surrounding these pathways are powerful swirling patterns representing the constant movement of life — changing emotions, challenges, outside influences, uncertainty and unexpected events that can alter the direction of a person's journey.

Life rarely follows a perfectly straight path.

Sometimes we are carried forward. Sometimes we circle back. Sometimes we find ourselves travelling somewhere we never expected.

Yet through all of this movement, the pathways remain.

The connection between the man and woman carries a deeper message within the artwork: two people do not need to walk exactly the same path for their connection to remain meaningful. Each person must continue to grow as an individual, while love, shared experiences and memories become part of the journey they carry with them.

The circles remind us that connection reaches far beyond two people. Family, community and Country form part of the pathways surrounding us, creating places of belonging and reminding us that our individual journeys are connected to something greater than ourselves.

Through the centre of these pathways, the platypus continues forward — representing resilience, adaptability and the courage to keep moving through change. It reminds us that while we cannot always control where life's currents may take us, we can continue to learn, grow and find our way.

Free Shipping Australia Wide on all Original Art Canvas and Fine art prints. All products are sent fully-insured, un-stretched, and prints are carefully rolled in a protective tube for FREE Australia-wide shipping via Australia Post. International shipping costs are determined at checkout. 

Once payment has been received and your artwork has been dispatched, you will be sent a tracking number so you can follow your delivery through the Australia Post tracking system.

All artworks are packed with great care to ensure safe transit. Deliveries must be signed for upon arrival. Please note we do not deliver to PO Boxes. Most Australian deliveries arrive within 3–5 business days from dispatch. Any damages must be reported to Kunja Dreaming within 24 hours of delivery.
